Junior Lifeguard Camp
The Scarborough Beach Lifeguard Association is proud to announce its Junior Lifeguard Camp
offerings for the summer of 2007. This will provide the opportunity for every camper to receive
instruction in water safety, first aid, ocean hazards, lifeguard skills and associated physical fitness
training. The program will put a strong emphasis on team-building, group problem solving, and
leadership skill development.
Camp Sessions
The SBLA has created three sessions in order to increase the number of options for campers. The
length of the classes will be from 8:30am to 12:30pm Monday thru Friday. Our goal for each camp
session is to keep the instructor to camper ratio at a minimum of 1 to 5 and maximum of 1 to 7.
Cost
The camp cost will be $235.00 per session with discounts for multiple sessions or multiple family
members participating.
Session 2: July 9 – July 13 - Class: 8:30am – 12:30 pm
Session 3: July 16 – July 20 - Class: 8:30am – 12:30 pm
Age groups divisions
(A) 14-15 years old (B) 12-13 years old (C) 9-11 years old
Space is limited. Positions are filled on a first come first served basis.
