Meet our lifeguard dogs, Beacon and Buoy!

These amazing pups work alongside our human lifeguards to perform water rescues and patrol the beach for swimmers in distress.

As second responders, our lifeguard dogs are an integral part of our beach safety team. Beacon is the first pup in the nation to serve as a lifeguard at a public beach, and Buoy is in her first year of training.

Both dogs attend the American Academy of Canine Water Rescue program, where they train to become the best lifeguard dogs they can be.
